This head is fitted with the standard ISO 50 spindle, hydraulic retention and is for use with conventional cutters. It is equipped with an AC motor of 22/30 kW (30/40HP) or optional 30/40kW (40/50Hp) and a maximum speed of 4000 Rpm or an optional 6000 Rpm.
The unit can rotate around it's axis +/- 15° and vertically -50mm to +115mm in respect to the centreline. This head has been designed for all types of screws whether it be complex twin screws, intricate single screws, mixing and degassing sections or feed/blister pockets.
Optionally, this head can have the ability to produce splines for the drive ends thus ensuring in twin screws that they will always match up.
